How many tutors should I contact?
As many as you can teach. It is better not to limit the numbers so that you can compare rates, expertise and decide on which is suitable for you.
The tutors and parents/students decide all fees and terms of payment. Fees vary so check to see what other tutors are offering. Communicate directly with your tutor to find mutually agreeable terms of payment.

What qualifications do tutors using Search4tutors have?
Our tutors consist of Undergraduates, graduates, certified teachers, stay-at home mums who left work for family commitments, and college professors. All of our tutors require at minimum a diploma certification in a relevant subject, should be over 18 and allowed to work in Ireland. We normally encourage all out tutors to have a current CRB check. This would normally up your ratings for the clients.

We offer 4 membership plans,

Search4tutors.ie accepts payment of all credit and debit cards through pay pal for now. When you pay, your account is instantly activated (your profile is immediately visible to students and parents).
When I register, am I an employee of Search4tutor.ie?
No. Search4tutor.ie is a tutor referral service only and not responsible for the services provided by tutors. Each tutor is solely responsible for setting fees, arranging tutoring schedules, paying all taxes on income earned, and all other issues and responsibilities related to tutoring.
How many requests from students can I receive?
As many requests as you can get from students and parents.
How do I get in contact with a student?
You can check the request page or email directly when you are contacted.
How much should I get paid every time I tutor?
You would normally set your own rates however find out what the local going rates, consider your level of experience and subject because we also encourage feedback from parents students for tutoring services received from tutors from this site. This would normally increase your ratings hence more business for you.
Can I select more than one subject to teach? You can register the subjects you wish to tutor so that the client can find you under the different categories you teach. The same applies to the number of counties you can teach or travel to. If you do not choose the subjects or counties, the clients would not be able to find you under the different categories.
